The Organization of Oh Meu Deus – Ultra Trail ® – Serra da Estrela – 100 Milhas Portugal is a co-organization of Horizontes Turismo Desportivo with Associação Interior Convida, based in Proença-a-Nova with the institutional support of the Municipality of Seia and União das Parishes of Seia, São Romão and Lapa dos Dinheiros.
The Oh Meu Deus – Ultra Trail ® – Serra da Estrela – 100 Miles Portugal is a leisure/sporting event, pedestrian in nature with mountain characteristics. It develops in routes with the use of footpaths, forest trails, rural paths, paths and pedestrian trails. Carrying out the itinerary on foot and in the shortest possible time.
This event aims to combine the spirit of adventure in nature, tourism and sport. It will consist of 4 distances:

1. Participation is open to any participant over the age of 18.
2. The participant must be fully aware of the extension and specificity of the event and have acquired a real capacity of personal autonomy to manage the difficulties and problems that may arise in this type of event.
3. The participant must inform the Organisation of any health problems he/she may have, for prior knowledge of first aid, should it be necessary, such as: diabetes, hypertension, asthma and other chronic diseases.
4. The participant must deliver the Medical Certificate (if applicable for his race) and the Term of Responsibility signed.
Attention: The Organisation reserves the right to exclude from the event, even before it begins, any participant who, through his behaviour, conditions the management and/or its good functioning. Should this occur, the athlete will not be reimbursed.

KIT COLLECTION – CHECK IN
To carry out the check-in, participants must present a photo identification document (Citizen’s Card, Passport, etc.).
The athlete’s kit must be collected by the participant himself. Collection by third parties is only allowed with proof of authorisation:

**The distances and unevenness shown may change.
- Those who complete the OMD160 will be entitled to a finisher ‘s medal and the top three will receive a trophy for the male or female category.
- To continue the race and cover another 40 kilometers from the OMD200 , you must complete the OMD160 in 34 hours.
- Anyone who completes the OMD200 (K160 + K40) within the 42 hour limit will be awarded the title of VIRIATO .
- There will be no distinction of first, second and third place for those who complete the OMD200 . The awarding of these warriors will be carried out in a ceremony with the delivery of the Viriato Trophy .
- Participants can leave a bag at the finish line, duly identified, with everything they need to follow Viriato’s route.

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS

- Each participant must correctly fill in the registration form and pay the amount within the stipulated period, with the participant being responsible for the veracity of their data.
OBS: Invoice submission must be requested by email to the organization within 15 days after payment, according to the law, indicating the name, address, and tax number.

Regular registration includes:
- Personal accident and civil liability insurance
- Back/Pectoral
- Official giveaway of the event
- Finisher award for those who complete the event
- Supply of solids and liquids while in competition
- Medical and/or nursing assistance at the finish line and marked stations.
- Transport for arrival, in case of abandonment or being prevented by the organization from continuing in the race.
Heads up:
- After registration closes, no changes are allowed.
- In addition to expressly agreeing to the terms of this Regulation, all participants must sign a Term of Responsibility, for download on the event page, to be printed, signed, scanned, or photographed and inserted on the platform on the website “link to be announced soon”.
- When registering and delivering the Term of Responsibility, the participant assumes the risks arising from his/her participation in the Event and full responsibility for the possible consequences, including involvement in accidents followed by injuries or death, unless caused by the Organization’s sole fault.
- The exchange of registration or type of test can only be made until May 21, 2023 , that is, the last day of registration, after that date no exchange will be allowed.
- If the change is for a test with a higher registration fee, the difference will be paid, in the amounts in force on the date of the change.
- If the change is for a test with a lower registration fee, there will be no refund of the differential.
KIT COLLECTION – CHECK-IN
To carry out the ” Check In”, participants must present the following documents:
- Identification Document or Passport.

No changes to participant data are allowed after May 21, 2023. In case of withdrawal, the amount of this edition will be credited to the same athlete or another one indicated, exclusively for the 2023 edition of Oh Meu Deus – Ultra Trail ® Serra da Estrela, according to the following table:

COMMUNICATION / CONTACT WITH THE ORGANIZATION
- Any contact with the organization must be made through the existing contact form on the page https://www.ohmeudeus.com/contactos/ or through the email: geral@horizontes.pt
- The organization is not responsible for responding to any other form of contact, namely: messages on Facebook and other social networks.
- Questions put to the organization that have a direct answer in the consultation of the regulation or other technical information on the official pages of the event, will not be answered.
- Participants will be automatically insured, in accordance with Decree Law No. 10/2009, of January 12th.
- In the event of an accident, the participant must first contact the organization, which will arrange for their referral to the nearest medical institution.
- If the participant goes to the medical institution on his own, he must notify the organization.
- The participation of the claim can be handled after completing the first aid to the participant, who must send an email to the organization to activate the participation of the claim with the insurer
- The payment of the insurance deductible, in the event of an accident, is the sole responsibility of the athletes.
- The organization declines any type of payment.
- The organization will not assume expenses for claims, which it did not become aware of in a timely manner to activate the insurance.
- By imposition of the insurers, the Expenses of Treatment and Permanent Disability for athletes over 70 years of age are excluded.
- Claims must be filed with the insurer within a maximum of eight working days from the date of the claim. After this date, the insurer reserves the right not to accept said claim.
- Any and all expense documents related to a claim that has already been reported will be paid in advance by the respective claimant and the originals sent to the insurer for subsequent reimbursement.
- All expenses are paid by the victim and are then reimbursed by the insurer according to the insurance coverage, that is if the insurance claim is duly made and accepted by the insurer.
BIB / CHEST
- The athlete’s number is personal and non-transferable and must always be visible during the race, it must be placed on the clothes, on the chest or abdomen, on the leg or on the back.
- Only participants with a visible bib will have access to the control/supply stations.
- In case of loss of number, the athlete will be penalized with disqualification from the race.
- If any participant in the race has a bib number that does not belong to him, he will be immediately invited to withdraw from the race.
- The exchange of registration or type of test can only be made until the 21/05/ 2023th , that is, the last day of registration, after that date the exchange will not be allowed.
ATTENTION: You must not give your dorsal to another athlete without permission of the Organization. The insurance is directed to the person originally enrolled
TRACKERS
Non-delivery to the organization and/or loss of the tracker (device for tracking online) is the sole responsibility of the entrant. Participants will be responsible for all costs associated with its replacement.
CONTROL STATIONS AND SUPPLY
- Each athlete must be accompanied, throughout the race, by all the required equipment (see RECOMMENDED equipment). In any part of the route, you must have the requested equipment.
- The filling stations will have liquids for immediate consumption. The organization provides pure water to fill bottles or water bags. The athlete must ensure that he has, from each supply station, the quantities of water and food he needs to reach the next refueling point.
- The checkpoints are mandatory crossing points and are located in places defined by the organization. A person responsible for the organization will be responsible for each of these controls.
- Failure to control one or more control points will lead to disqualification of the participant.
- During the race, there may be “surprise checks” in order to ensure full compliance with the route. Your position, obviously, will not be communicated by the organization.
- Abandons must be made solely and exclusively at checkpoints.
- In the event of an accident or injury in which the participant is immobilized and cannot reach a checkpoint, he must activate the rescue operation by contacting the organization.
- The organization’s contact number, for emergency purposes, will be printed on the participant’s bib and must also be recorded in advance on the participant’s cell phone.
- Do not forget that, due to problems associated with the environment and type of event, it may be necessary to wait for assistance longer than expected. Therefore, the primary safety of the athletes basically depends on the quality of the materials/equipment they have.
- Participants must abide by the decisions of specialized medical personnel
TIME LIMIT (Time Barrier)
- The tests are single-step, with a time limit for execution.
- Time barriers are calculated to allow participants to reach the finish line within the imposed time limit, already accounting for possible stops (rest, supplies, etc.) To be authorized to continue in the race, participants must arrive and leave the checkpoint before of its closure, otherwise, they will be prevented from proceeding and, consequently, will be disqualified.
- For reasons of force majeure (weather and/or security), the organization reserves the right to change the time barriers at any time, before or during the event.
TIME CONTROL METHODOLOGY
- Manual control of the participant’s ticket registration will be used for time control. At the control posts, there will be a responsible person who will register the passage of the athletes.
- At all checkpoints, the athlete must approach the person in charge and make sure that the registration of his passage has been carried out.
- In the starting zone, the clock will start counting at the established time, with or without the presence of the participants. Participants who are not present within 15 minutes after departure or who appear beyond this period will be prevented from leaving and, as such, will not be classified.
PARTICIPANT ASSISTANCE
- Personal assistance is allowed 100 meters before entering the control/supply stations in the area specifically designated for this.
- No athlete may be accompanied, during all or part of the course, by non-accredited persons, except in the tolerance zones defined in the previous paragraph.
- The circulation of team support cars on the course will also be prohibited, and these must remain at the arrival points
CLOTHES CHANGE – Pre-defined Checkpoint
OMD200/OMD100 (Bags for changing clothes)
- For the OMD200 there will be 2 PCs for changing clothes.
- For the OMD100 there will be 1 PC for a change of clothes.
- Participants must deliver a closed bag to the Secretariat ( bag will be provided by the organization ), with a change of clothes identified with the sticker provided by the Organization. That bag will then be transported to the respective PCs.
- The bags will only return to the Logistics Center when the respective test is finished.
- The bags can also be delivered with the participant’s support.
- You must, in an orderly, unhurried manner, go to the control desk and request the respective equipment.
- The contents of the bags will not be verified, therefore no complaints will be accepted.
- It is recommended that you do not place any valuables.
- The collection of the bag must be done by 14:00 on June 11th. The uncollected bag may be sent by postal mail or other means of distribution, as long as requested by the participant and after paying all expenses inherent to said shipment (postal packaging + postage, plus an administrative fee of €15.00. The deadline for sending the bag will be June 30, 2023. After this date, the material that is in good condition will be donated, with the rest thrown away.
Attention: The equipment you take with you initially must be transported throughout the race.
It is forbidden to hand over or lift the poles during the course. Poles are not allowed in seedling bags. Changes in clothes and sneakers will only be allowed in a specific place for this purpose.
At the Identified Control Post you can only pick up equipment for the rest of the route. The organization will not be responsible for any belongings left outside the Identified Checkpoint.

RECOMMENDED MATERIAL

- Waste holder, integrated or not in the backpack
- Gloves, hat, cap, or “ buff ” (according to the weather forecast)
- Sticks (Attention, you cannot leave them at the Supply Stations or put them in the bags)
- GPS,
- A bandage or elastic band, sunscreen, Vaseline or anti-chafing cream, sewing kit.
- Antacids for digestive problems
- Chocolate tablets, energy bars, and pieces of fruit.
- Sachets of salt and sugar
- Amount in cash (to cover any unforeseen circumstances)
For security reasons, it is recommended that participants check their material, in order to make sure that it is in perfect condition for the test.

*Trophies will be given to participants who complete the OMD200 (160+40), regardless of position or category.
The prizes are personal and non-transferable and will only be given to participants who appear in person at the prize-giving ceremony.
The Registration Prize for the next edition will be for the same distance. If you intend to participate at a different distance, you must pay the difference in the registration fee, if any.
Under any circumstances, trophies or medals will be sent by CTT .
There will be the classification of the respective Male and Female categories for all distances, according to ATRP regulations, but there will be no prize-giving.

Note: Considering the provisions of the ARTP Regulations, for the purpose of classifying and scoring the athletes in the categories, the age that the athlete will be on October 31st of the current competitive season will be considered.
Ex: An athlete who turns 40 on October 31st will be classified in the M40 class throughout the circuit.
BRIEF BRIEFING
- Signage will mostly be orange tape, however, biodegradable paints, reflective signs, flags and signs will be used.
- The signage with tapes will, in 95% of the cases, be on the right side. Ribbons on the left side of the course indicate that it will change direction.
- Never walk more than 200 meters without seeing signs, in which case go back until you find the last tape or sign.
- If you cannot find the continuity of the signaling, contact the organization immediately.
- The participant can leave the course of the race whenever he wants, without suffering any punishment, whenever he returns to it by the same point that he left it.
The race management and the control chiefs present at the controls are responsible for applying the rules and regulations that govern the race and are therefore authorized to apply penalties and disqualifications, set out in the table below.

- Any and all claims must be made in writing and sent to the race director within two hours after the arrival of the participant in question. The complaint must contain the name of the complainant, number of BI/CC or passport, name of the affected participant(s), bib number, and alleged reasons.
- The Race Director will decide up to 12 hours after the claim has been made.
- Rankings will officially be an online line on the event website up to 24 hours after the end of the event.
- Participants also have a period of 24 hours to submit classification complaints via email: geral@horizontes.com.pt
- The Organization of the Oh Meu Deus – Ultra Trail ® – Serra da Estrela – 100 Milhas Portugal race, the respective sponsors and the entities that collaborate in the organization of this sporting event reserve the rights to use freely in all countries and in all forms, the participation of competitors, as well as the results obtained by them.
- The event may be recorded on video and/or photographed by the Event Organization and journalists for later publicity use.
- Participants who have any restrictions on the use of their image must notify the Organization in advance and in writing. Otherwise, they will automatically authorize the use at any time, without the right to receive financial compensation from the organization.
- The Organization declines all responsibility in case of accident, negligence and/or theft of the objects and values of each participant.
- All doubts about the interpretation of the Regulations and other cases related to race will be analyzed and decided by the Event Organization.
- It is exclusively up to the Organization to approve any correction it deems opportune and at any time, which will be published on the Internet, on the official website of the event, in the participant’s guide, and at the secretariat.
- If this Regulation is to be published in other languages and in case of doubts regarding its interpretation, the Portuguese text will be the only one considered valid.
- By virtue of registration, payment and participation in the Oh Meu Deus – Ultra Trail ® – Serra da Estrela – 100 Miles Portugal, the competitor acknowledges that he has read, understood, and accepted, without reservation, the terms and conditions of participation in the event provided for in the Regulation of the test.
- The organization, in cases of bad weather and/or for security reasons, reserves the right to interrupt, change schedules or suspend the performance of the test on the scheduled date and place. In these cases, there will be no reimbursement to be made to the competitors for the sums already paid or to the sponsors.
- In times of a pandemic caused by the contamination of the COVID-19 virus, if the authorities do not allow the event to take place, all confirmed registrations will be transported to the 2023 edition.
Cases not covered by this regulation will be resolved by the organizing committee, whose decisions cannot be appealed.
The Justice Forum of the Organizing Company’s domicile is hereby established.
