The course is very diverse in terrain and landscape. It is also in the number of villages where it can get supplies. In some stretches, the isolation will be total and the feeling of isolation may bring some discomfort.

The average temperatures for this time of year are above 30º, and in some places, we have already registered, in the sun, 47º. On asphalt stretches, and on some forest roads that are more exposed to the sun, these temperatures will be a reality. The use of sunglasses is recommended.

Don’t make it easy to carry water, or neglect your moments of rest or sleep. Study well the race charts, and the distances between the footholds, and consider stopping always and at all commercial spaces that can provide you with cold drinks or food that will bring you value.

The journey is very long and requires good management skills. The 66 hours are enough to cover the entire distance, but it will be too short if you can’t manage rest times and average paces of progress.
